Each child has received a home learning pack to ensure that learning continues. Each pack contains learning activities for your child(ren) to complete. Children thrive on routine and I would therefore suggest that you establish daily activities over the next few weeks, making it clear at which points in the day you expect your child(ren) to do school work.
Children have received a collection of reading books which they should be reading every day. Please ensure these books are looked after as they will need to be returned to school once we re-open.
As well as the homework pack, please find a list of useful online, home-learning materials which you may find useful:
BBC bitesize - a selection of videos and quizzes for all subjects.
Twinkle- a wide range of resources that can be downloaded/played on line. Parents can access this free during the school closure period.
Khana Academy - especially good for maths and computing for all ages.
Blue Peter Badges – children complete different activities to earn badges.
Oxford Owl – free e-books and spelling and phonics games activities.
ICT GAMES - interactive maths and literacy games
Pobble 365 – great for independent writing activities.
