Our Vision & Mission

ST STEPHEN'S VISION & MISSION STATEMENT FOR 2015 - 2020

As an inclusive, Christian school and Children's Centre, we will nurture, inspire, empower and expect every child to achieve their very best in life, work and in the community.

We do this through:

Creating a safe and welcoming environment with a relentless focus on achievement.
A determination that no child is left behind.
A commitment to working collaboratively with families and the community.

  Our Vision
The primary long term goal for the School & the Children's Centre is:
To nurture, inspire, empower and expect every child to achieve their very best in life, work and the community.

This will be achieved by:

  Our Mission
The School & Children's Centre will commit and carry out actions that we believe are needed to achieve our vision.
Creating a safe and welcoming environment with a relentless focus on achievement.
A determination that no child is left behind.
A commitment to working collaboratively with families and the community.

Christian Values
We aim to improve the School and the Children's Centre by using our Christian Values. These values stand for a distinctively Christian understanding to shape all aspects of leading and learning. It never deviates from setting high expectations and raising aspirations.

“Religious Education (RE) has a high profile at the school and contributes well to its Christian values.”

Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools Report, Dec '16

"We believe that St Stephen's has a bright future and our vision and mission for the future will make sure parents/carers, the community and staff are part of that."
